Centurion Construction Rounding The Bend At Estuary At Grey Oaks
The “Centurion”, a new model estate home being built by Borelli Construction of Naples is well underway with a completion dated slated for August 2009. The home is located at 1240 Gordon River Trail in the Estuary enclave at the Grey Oaks community. Construction began August 2008.
Stofft Cooney is the architectural firm on the project.
The Centurion model is positioned for a commanding view of the number-eight hole of the Bob Cupp designed championship Estuary golf course, and a shimmering lake beyond.
The stately home will offer a substantial 7,418 square feet under air, and 10,165 total square feet; and six bedrooms including a private apartment that is complete with living room, morning kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and utility room.
Supplied with all the luxuries, the home is solid and well-built with such features as masonry block construction, including the second floor; Monier premium cement roof tile; roof that is engineered with hurricane clips and wind protection tie downs (up to 140 mph); pre-cast moulding on all sides.
For today’s “build green” construction techniques, the home has insulated Low E Argon Gas impact glass windows and doors by Marvin; High R value foam thermal insulation used on exterior walls and roof decks to provide a superior thermal envelope; high efficiency lighting system that extends the life of the lights and to run with more efficiency; two “tankless” water heating systems; high efficiency HVAC; and insulated soundproof interior/exterior walls. This home is awarded the Florida, Power and Light (FPL) “Energy Gold Star”, the highest rating given for efficiency.
